Dennis Bernaciak, EA, ATA, is the What’s Your Major? Financial Aid Planning Director. Dennis has twenty-eight years of experience in income tax and finance. His private practice specializes in individual and estate tax issues. Since 1991, he has been enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service and received the designation of Accredited Tax Advisor by the Accreditation Council for Accountancy and Taxation® (ACAT) at that time. This designation is awarded to professionals who have demonstrated the ability to handle sophisticated tax planning issues and have a thorough knowledge of the existing tax code and the preparation of tax returns. For twenty-three years, Dennis has worked in managerial and administrative capacities in the city Finance departments in Cleveland Heights and Stow, Ohio.
